Dudley Fontaine has been living with and training dogs of various breeds for 20 years, including Cocker Spaniels, Standard Poodles, and now Border Collies. Border Collies Maverick, Sweet, and Jack have been on IFCS and WAO USA world teams multiple times each, and all have medaled. Jack and Sweet were both members of the USA WAO 2013 and 2014 teams, and each contributed runs toward the USA's team gold medal in both years. Jack also competed for AKC's team at the European Open 2013 in Belgium and made the finals. Sweet won the 20" AKC National Championships in 2013 with over 400 dogs in her height class. Youngest pup Bird is following in their paw steps with two wins and a silver medal at the 2013 US UKI Open and a USDAA Grand Prix Regional win. Bird was also on the USA team for the 2014 European Open in Hungary and went to Italy on the IFCS USA Team this year. Bird was on the winning 2015 Cynosport Dam Team in California last year with Tracy Hirsch/Silver and Dave Grubel/Boca. She also won both Steeplechase and Grand Prix Finals at the recent Central Regional.  Sweet represented the USA at the WAO in the Netherlands in 2015. Before dogs, Dudley was an avid horse trainer and three-day eventcompetitor. She lives with her husband Greg, their dogs, and sheep on a farm near Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Saturday morning will be devoted to Novice handlers and handlers who have started competing in Open classes. The focus will be on improving handling skills and transferring learning to performing.
