Workshop for Rally Instructors - new rally rules

Learn the new AKC Rally Rules

GCOC member, Phyllis Beasley will lead discussion and explain the new AKC rally rules,which take effect April, 1 2012.  this 2 hour workshop will introduce instructors to the new signs and rules that they will need to teach for future GCOC rally classes.  

 Only people who plan to act as GCOC Rally instructors should attend this workshop.   Separate classes will be offered at a later date to members and others who wish to learn the new rules in order to compete.

Things to bring: your well behaved dog (optional), chair, crate, water, treats, short leash, and a notebook and pen.

We will conduct the workshop lecture style, with some time in the second half for working with dogs.  If you decide to bring a dog, please make sure that he/she is able to be in a crate quietly or out in the car, so as not to distract during the lecture.
